Every detail - from the 2-button closure and 9 cm wide notch lapels to the two straight flap pockets and double vent at the back - is designed for a streamlined look.

Mr. Jansen's suit demonstrates the power of bespoke tailoring. His active lifestyle, including cycling, resulted in strong thighs and slim calves, a combination that often poses problems with standard off-the-rack trousers. The choice fell on a dark grey sharkskin fabric from Holland & Sherry's Target collection. This super 120's wool, weighing 310gm, offers a perfect balance between comfort and class, fitting the high demands of an executive at Ernst & Young.

Fitting of the Custom Suit:

Fitting a suit is always a very important step. During this fitting, you check if the taken body measurements align with the feeling measurements and if the suit looks good and feels comfortable. It's very important to be realistic and understand the relationship between look and feel before allowing the tailor to make size changes and adjustments.

In this assignment, there was very little to adjust because everything was very thoroughly discussed and reviewed during the first appointment, especially in terms of cause and effect of the fit. During the fitting, we discovered that Mr. Jansen often wore the blazer at his desk, so there needed to be some extra room at the chest to allow the arms to move forward more easily. This can obviously be done and takes 2 days to arrange. We then adjust this size on the measurement form so that future assignments immediately address this.
