When thinking of a tailored wedding suit for the summer, what often comes to mind is a ‘sand colour’ such as this example. Often made and worn for beach weddings in Aruba and Curaçao for example.

Due to its colour the suit appears friendly and summer-like, yet it has something special without calling out for attention too much. This makes the jacket suitable to wear during the wedding but also at other occasions there after. A suit like this can also have nice personal details when you pay close attention.

This summer wedding suit is made from a 280 gram wool with a linen look, having a nice drape and excellent breathing properties. Often combined with a waistcoat of the same colour, or when you want something more pronounced with a different colour and or pattern in the fabric.

The jacket has two buttons, straight notch lapels, four kissing buttons on the sleeve, straight pockets and is full canvas constructed making it more breathing and supple and light to wear.

Special features are the sleeve construction and hand stitched finishing on the front (the fine small stitches on the edges) indicating your suit is well constructed and made with care.

The sleeve construction is the same as with a shirt, the sleeve disappears under the shoulder. This is a technique often seen in Italy, called Spalla Camicia. This gives a more sporty and relaxed appearance compared to a regular constructed shoulder for your tailored wedding suit.
