Frock Coat Royal Blue

Having a morning coat tailored means much more freedom in terms of fabric (colour and type) and style than when you buy one. Especially for the groom, we create contemporary variations of morning coats.

The morning coat consists of three parts, namely:

1. The jacket (cutaway coat): This morning coat is made in a royal blue super 130’s wool. A lightweight eye catcher that, besides the playful colour, ensures that the jacket is not too warm for a wedding in spring or summer. The style is more modern, with the back often being shorter than usual, normally reaching or just above the knee, and having a straighter finish. The inner lining of the morning coat jacket is also light blue instead of grey or black, giving it a classic yet friendly appearance. We call this "Understated Confidence."

2. The waistcoat for this morning coat is made in Dove Grey, the classic grey colour for a morning coat, but in a double-breasted style. So, when the jacket is off, you are still fully dressed with a personal statement.

3. The morning coat trousers, instead of having a morning stripe, are made in a sharkskin fabric, making them suitable for regular wear even after the wedding.

All in all, a beautiful personal project where there is a nice interchange between style and colour to create a unique morning coat for the wedding, which can still be (partially) worn afterward.
